The “Spring Book Club 2026”-The fourth meeting-discussion
The “Spring Book Club 2026” program continues. The fourth meeting-discussion was held within the framework of the program, which was conducted by the book club moderator Tigran Martirosyan. At this meeting, the participants discussed chapters 9-11 of the book.
At the beginning of the meeting, the participants noted whether moral “grayness” is a realistic view of human behavior or a way to avoid responsibility for judging right and wrong.It was also discussed what a government based on Ayn Rand’s philosophy would do in practice, and what it would avoid doing.
In the second part of the meeting, the participants touched on the idea of “public good”. Does it describe a real moral entity or does it hide the interests of certain groups of people?
Book club discussions each time become a platform for active analysis and question-and-answer sessions for the participating young people.
