The first meeting-discussion of the “Winter Book Club 2024” program.
On December 21, the “Winter Book Club 2024” program was launched at the Ara Sargsyan and Hakob Kojoyan House-Museum. Within the framework of the program, participants will read and jointly discuss Ayn Rand’s “The Romantic Manifesto.”
Gor Badalyan, CEO of ARCA, delivered a welcoming speech, wishing the participants a good course and productive discussions.
Hripsime Voskanyan, the moderator of the book club, introduced the participants to the main concepts of the philosophy of objectivism, after which the actual discussion of the book began. At this meeting, the participants discussed the first and second chapters of the book.
In an active discussion and question-and-answer format, the attendees shared their opinions on the lack of intellectual foundations of contemporary art and their own definitions of the sense of life.
