The “Summer Book Club 2025” program continues. The third meeting-discussion of the program took place, which was held by the book club moderator Melanie Hovhannisyan.
At the end of the previous meeting, the program participants were divided into three groups. The groups studied and prepared posters on the philosophies of Aristotle, Plato and Kant. They highlighted the commonalities and contrasts of the mentioned philosophers with the philosophy of Objectivism. The presented works were very creative, interesting and meaningful.
The meeting continued with a discussion of the fourth chapter of the book, which related to the topic “Philosophy and Psychology in History”.During the discussion, the participants noted that Peikoff clearly draws the line between emotion and feeling. They also discussed what factors underlie the formation of a great and unique philosopher.
The book club discussions take place in a warm and positive atmosphere.Participants share their views on the issues being discussed, and we often have interesting analyses.
