📚The second meeting-discussion of the “Winter Book Club 2024” program took place, which was conducted by the book club’s moderator, Hripsime Voskanyan.
🖌️At this meeting, the participants discussed the third and fourth chapters of the book, which dealt with the topics “Art and Sense of Life” and “Art and Cognition”.
🖼️During the discussion, the participants addressed the question of why we create art. They analyzed the mechanisms of art’s influence on people’s lives. The attendees individually addressed cases when art helped them see something from a new perspective.
🎨In the second part of the meeting, the participants were divided into two groups and carried out group work. The groups presented examples of artwork that would or would not be considered artwork from the perspective of Objectivism.
🫰🏼The book club discussions took an active turn. The participants read the book with great interest, and the discussions were accompanied by heated questions and answers.
