Who will coordinate the winter book club?
Hripsime Voskanyan, a philosophy and science enthusiast, and one of the first top graduates of the John Galt School of Armenia. Her academic background is rooted in science: She holds a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science. Professionally, Hripsime works as a Senior Data Analyst at one of the largest IT companies in Armenia and as a Teacher Associate at her alma mater, the American University of Armenia.
While her academic path has been centered on science, her experience at the John Galt School nurtured her passion for philosophy, particularly Ayn Rand’s Objectivism. Since 2022, she has been an active member of the Ayn Rand Center of Armenia, delivering lectures in all John Galt Schools by ARCA (besides the first one, which she graduated from), as well as at the Objectivism Vol. 1 program. Beyond lecturing, she has led three Objectivism-focused book clubs, covering Ayn Rand’s works Anthem, The Virtue of Selfishness, and The Romantic Manifesto. Her primary philosophical interests lie in exploring how Rand and Objectivism have influenced art, popular culture, people’s views on religion, and broader intellectual discourse.
She actively engages with the international liberty-oriented community. She attended NICON 2022 and 2023, where she gained invaluable experience networking and learning from distinguished speakers, and LibertyCon 2024, which further deepened her exposure to global ideas. She also participated in a book club organized by the Objective Standard Institute (OSI). Overall,she strives to continuously expand my understanding of Objectivism by reading, discussing, and applying its principles in my daily life—while also creating opportunities for others to engage with and explore these ideas.
