The “John Galt School 2024” program continues.
In the framework of the second course-discussion of the program, the speaker Irakli Iagorashvili presented to the participants “Galt’s vision. “Objectivist Exploration of Reality” topic.
At first, it was discussed about the metaphysics of Objectivist philosophy and its role.
It was also presented what the reality is and what answers the discussed philosophy gives to that question. Presenting quotes from Leonard Peikoff, the speaker touched upon causality.
The primacy of existence and consciousness were singled out as primary principles.At the end of the speech, Rand’s denial of supernatural power was also mentioned, and participants watched a video where Rand addressed this topic.
The course continued with a discussion on issues of interest to the participants. A very active question-and-answer session took place between the participants and the speaker.
