The fifth meeting-discussion of the “Fall Book Club 2025” program took place.

The fifth meeting-discussion of the “Fall Book Club 2025” program took place, which was held by the book club moderators Julia Abrahamyan and Gevorg Petrosyan.

At this meeting, the participants carried out group work. A debate was organized within the previously divided groups on the following topics:

Can emotions ever be trusted as a guide to truth?

Is it possible to be moral without religion?

Is inequality natural and necessary?

Is suffering necessary for personal growth?

The debating parties presented claims that strengthened their positions by arguing. Interesting parallels were drawn between the definitions of Objectivist philosophy and the topics of the debate. The other groups addressed their questions of interest to the representatives of the debating group.
