About the movie 
Ayn Rand’s first novel, We The Living, written in 1936, presents an interesting juxtaposition of the ideas of freedom and love. It’s about a defiant young student, Kira, who meets a refugee, Leo. The two begin a fierce struggle to survive under the oppressive Soviet system. When Andrei, a Soviet secret police agent, also falls in love with Kira, all three’s lives become intertwined
