The second meeting-discussion of the “Spring Book Club 2026” program took place
The second meeting-discussion of the “Spring Book Club 2026” program took place at the Ara Sargsyan and Hakob Kojoyan House-Museum. It was conducted by Tigran Martirosyan, the book club’s moderator. At this meeting, the participants discussed chapters 2-4 of the book.
At the start of the meeting, it was discussed whether reason can fully guide human life, or whether emotions also play a role. Then, the participants noted how selfishness and caring for others can exist without contradiction.
In the second part of the meeting, those present touched on the role of competition and the protection of an individual’s own interests. Thoughts were expressed about whether competition is a conflict of interest, and if everyone follows their own interests, how will this shape society?
Within the framework of this book club, ideological debates and productive discussions take place between the participants.
