The ninth meeting and discussion of the “Winter Book Club 2026” program took place.
The ninth meeting of the “Winter Book Club 2026” program was held, led by book club moderator Hripsime Voskanyan. In this meeting, the participants discussed chapters 1-2 of the third part of the book.
At the beginning of the discussion, the participants reflected on the beginning of chapter 3 and shared their opinions on why Gail Wynand wanted to commit suicide. Wynand’s deliberate corruption of honest people and destruction of their integrity were also discussed.
In the second part of the meeting, the participants noted that Wynand keeps her art gallery in complete secrecy, while publicly revealing all the other parts of her life. Opinions were expressed as to what this implies about the part of her soul that she is trying to preserve.
This discussion of the “Winter Book Club 2026” program was also held in an online format and ended with an exchange of ideas about free will and why Keating claims that it does not exist.
