“Rational egoism should be the basis of the development of society”
The program “Hello Objectivism 2022” continues. Within the framework of the tenth course-discussion of the program, a debate club was held, conducted by Levon Babajanyan. The topic of the debate was: “Rational egoism should be the basis of the development of society.”
The debate was held in the format of a competitive game, within which the participants in the course were divided into teams. By drawing lots, the teams clarified their positions: “against” and “for”.
During the debate, both teams presented arguments supporting their positions, supporting them with facts. Then they asked each other questions, and at the end of the game they summarized the debate, making counterclaims, showing the weaknesses of the rival team.
At the end of the meeting, debate experts Gor Badalyan and Levon Babajanyan evaluated the teams’ performance.
