The last, eighth and concluding meeting-discussion of the “Winter Book Club 2023” program took place.
Within the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed the fifteenth and sixteenth Chapters of the book.At the beginning of the discussion, there was an interesting discussion about whether the USA continues to be the freest country in the world. Continuing the discussion of the claims presented in the book, the attendees mentioned what are the motivations of people to prefer pragmatism.
The participants were also assigned to read Ayn Rand’s work “For the new intellectual” and they shared their thoughts and impressions about it.
In the second part of the meeting, everyone mentioned what freedom is for them and how it is possible to achieve real freedom.
Book club meetings and discussions have ended.
