The “Fall Book Club 2024” program has ended
On November 9, the last, eighth meeting-discussion of the program was held, which was conducted by Naira Iritsyan.
At this meeting, the participants discussed the fourteenth to seventeenth chapters of the second part of the book.At the beginning of the discussion, the participants presented the events that happened at the end of the book, reflected on the conclusions of the fates of the main characters of the book. Attendees mentioned what sacrifices the characters make in the final chapters and what they mean.
In the second part of the meeting, the participants addressed the questions summarizing the book as a whole. Talked about how Rand addresses the resilience of the human spirit and what the overall message of “We The Living” is, how does Rand convey that through the final chapters?
At the end of the meeting, already as graduates of the program, everyone summarized the program, talked about the opportunities, positive and negative sides.
So the book club discussions ended. In the near future, the graduation event of the program will take place, during which the graduates of the program will be given their graduation certificates and we will all watch the movie “We The Living” together…
